Schools have closed, and children can finally relax. Unfortunately, bullying does not always end with the school year.
Although the school environment disappears, cyberbullying – online harassment – often continues during the holidays. Group messages, social media platforms, comments – all can serve as spaces for hidden abuse.
It is important that during the summer break we continue to pay attention to children’s mood and behavior, and create opportunities for open conversations.
We should also teach them about safe online presence – just as we do not forget sunscreen, online protection should also be part of the summer “equipment”!
