Digital compass for parents

In order to reduce the digital divide and improve children’s online safety, UNICEF and the company Yettel presented a three-part brochure series titled “Digital Compass for Parents.” The publications offer practical advice and knowledge for parents and educators to help them engage in open, informed, and supportive conversations with children about their digital experiences.

The aim of the brochures is to serve as a tool for adults to better understand children’s digital world, while taking into account children’s needs, rights, and safety.

The presentation of the brochures was accompanied by a webinar within the framework of UNICEF’s School for Parents, attended by experts, teachers, a communications manager, and the well-known artist Konstrakta. Konstrakta emphasized that it is not important for parents to know everything about technology, but rather to be present, open, and willing to learn together with their children.
