Antropos Mental Health Association

The Antropos Mental Health Association was founded in 2010 by a group of mental health professionals. It became obvious to the founders that young people are the most neglected population in terms of mental health, while they are the most sensitive and vulnerable generation, and at the same time the most receptive to new things.

We consider it our task to organize peer aggression prevention, individual and group consultations, psychotherapy (psychodrama self-knowledge groups), psychological workshops, self-strengthening trainings, lectures, films, performances, and forums on the topic of mental health. At the same time, we are happy to cooperate and coordinate existing and planned mental health programs with similar profile civil and state-founded organizations both domestically and abroad.

Other goals of the association:

  • organizing interactive group sessions and psychological workshops related to drug addiction
  • organizing and leading self-awareness group sessions
  • establishing contact and cooperating with all institutions operating in our narrower and wider environment that deal with the problem of drug addiction (schools, police, health institutions, Social Work Center, etc.)
  • organizing training for school professionals on the topic of violence between children and young people
  • developing, organizing and coordinating various sessions, activities and training aimed at increasing tolerance
  • organizing and coordinating the involvement of school professionals in the prevention of (physical, psychological and sexual) abuse of children and young people prevention
